  Although this restaurant came highly recommended to us during our recent visit to Golden, I was less than impressed. They have some unique options on the menu. And the decor is nice, with local art on the walls. This is an old house, so much of the dining room is sectioned which allows for a more cozy, romantic meal.

  The dragon boat was so delicious I've been dreaming of it ever since. Seafood was perfectly cooked, and the sauce they put on was seriously one of the tastiest sauces ever. Highly recommend ordering that! Bruschetta was made with little green tomatoes and feta cheese and it was a really good spin on the traditional kind. Canelloni was fantastic as well. No complaints here! It was fine dining for a good price in a really romantic cozy environment.

  Super cool place and yummy food. I had a noodle bowl which was a huge portion! My boyfriend got the sausages and loved them. Really nice staff and perfect for a date.

  We found our server to be quite abrupt and not friendly. We did not receive bread with our meal, which it seemed as though other tables had. So we asked for bread, and half way through our main course some cheesy garlic bread appeared (with an extra $$$ and more attitude from the server). We were staying at a local hotel and received a 10% coupon for this restaurant. Unfortunately we forgot it at the hotel room. Upon mentioned this to the server, we assumed we would get the discount. Again, our request was approached with attitude and we were told that “next time you shouldn’t forget it”. Our drinks took a very long time to come out, and so did our food. Our waters were never topped up without asking. White wine wasn’t poured from the bottle. I had the lemon basal pesto pasta, nothing too impressive about this meal. At the end of the meal, the ladies taking payment were both really great, so i think our server was a one off.

  Fine Dining in Golden, this is the spot. WOW. parking is a bit fun as it is street parking (however didn't spend the time to look for their personal lot) Tastefully decorated with local artists work and is quite intimate (despite the size) I put that down to that it is a renovated family home turned into a restaurant. The restaurant is quite busy so call in advance to book a table (even for 2) The service/staff members were impeccable from recommendations to conversation while dining, paid attention to detail of the clientele. The menu was robust with plenty to choose from. Chosen were the dragon boat (order more bread for soaking up the sauce - what dreams are made of) the duck breast and the squash cannelloni, a banana split to share. (yes, I left with an overstuffed belly and glazed over happy eyes.) Hindsight would have been to pick a different desert.

  This is an amazing little restaurant in Golden. They have unique menu with locally sourced ingredients. It gets really busy and I recommend reservations to guarantee a table. It is a great place to for a romantic meal. It is based in an old house and has local art on the walls.
