  The office is run by lying crooks. Do not stay here. Rolled up last Sat. just as the office was closing and asked for a basic tent site for the night. Was directed to pick from any of the RV style sites available, so we set up on the rock hard gravel of one of them. When we went to pay for it the next morning, I noticed on their info board that they have 5 tent pads in the back for $20 instead of the $35 we would get charged. There was nobody using them and when I asked why we were not offered one of those she said, “For business reasons we are not allowed to tell anyone about those sites”. Who knows what other scams they are running. So it is my business to tell you not to stay there.

  Close to train track. A train every 5 minutes. Luckily not during some hours during night time. You are really close to the street and you don't have any privacy. The showers are to be paid extra and are with a timer. Don't like that. It was ok for quick sleep.

  Then there is the train. Oh that train, all night long passing right there, so if you have a problem to sleep with noise or want a quiet place to sleep, this is not a place for you.

  The price it's really high if you take in consideration the worst shower ever that's no even included in the price, that's the worst part of it, you want to charge me extra for a shower. Well than, give the best shower ever, all close, no wind coming at me when I go to bathroom or take a shower, a great shower head and a great system that I control the temperature.

  Pretty good. Showers and bathrooms are decent. Good little store out front. Right by the river. Trains are loud of course but as expected. Easy access to Golden strip for restaurants and such. Not a great stop if you want to party late and loud, as it is more family oriented. Party they throw for Canada day is great though!

  The train. You know you have a problem with the noise, charge a little bit less the competition in recognition to the inconvenience.

  Camped at this site for an Intrepid trip... Surface is quite rocky - large rocks. I would recommend a good camping mattress if you're setting up tent. Facilities were poorly kept(hand soaps were empty entire stay). There were other facilities at the entrance but these are a great distance from camping ground. This site is also right on a train interchange (I think) trains were constantly crashing and banging as they changed carriages or something similar - all night on what seemed like an hourly basis.

  They charge a dollar for 10 minutes shower, which for me is already ridiculous, but the worst is not that, you can't control the water temperature, if comes cold, like it happens to us and it was a really cold day, it's your problem, if comes really hot in hot day, again. But don't ends there, it's all open, it's a horrible bathroom, and the day I had a shower with close to zero degrees, the water was cold and the wind coming to me, since its all open above your head and on your feet.
