  Love this shop and it's awesome staff. Ski at this mountain as a favourite driving up from Calgary for the day. My son had unbearable foot cramping in his new ski boots ( bought in Calgary ) on his first day out, thinking the boot was properly fitted by a high end ski shop in Calgary. Well, I dragged him in after our first run and your boot specialist ( sorry forget his name ) had the boot adjusted 100% to his comfort after 2 runs of adjustments. This made our day and we are very thankful. Thanks guys! See you on our next trip to rent some skiis!

  Update...I called the day before arriving and asked over the phone if it was necessary to reserve 2 sets of Salomon skiis to rent for my son and myself. I was assured that they would have plenty of Salomon skiis available. Well, when we arrived at the mountain and went into the shop early morning to rent our skiis, the selection was minimal and were not able to rent skiis for the day. Our desired brand Salomon was not available in the sizes or model. Sorry guys, but you messed up on that one! Just wanted you to know about that. Will still come to your shop though!

  We are two qualified ski instructors that came to Kicking Horse in March 2017. We have both been having problems with ski boots, despite numerous fittings in the UK and Italy. The guys in Selkirk were simply the best we have ever met. One of us got customised inner boots and the other had the outer shell of the boots modified. Neither change was exactly unusual, but the sudden increase in comfort certainly was. If we had gone to Selkirk five years ago, we would have saved a lot of money on futile work in Europe.
